Basement Remodeling Services in Rhode Island

We offer a full range of basement remodeling services. Every service includes quality materials, skilled workmanship, and clear timelines.

Rhode Island Basement Waterproofing and Moisture Protection

Water issues can ruin basements. In Newport, East Providence, Barrington, and beyond, basements face damp floors and moisture problems. We fix that first. We install strong waterproofing systems. We add proper drainage. We seal walls and floors. The result? A dry space you can use with confidence. This service feels good. It removes worry about mold, damp smells, and damage. It makes basements safe and clean.

Rhode Island Basement Framing and Layout Design

A good basement starts with smart planning. In Middletown, Jamestown, and Little Compton, space shapes vary. We adjust to your space. We create layouts that flow. We frame walls, define rooms, and build for comfort. We focus on: Clear room separation Functional flow from area to area High ceilings where possible Safe access to exits You feel comfortable, and your guests feel it too.

Basement Electrical and Lighting Remodeling in Rhode Island

Basements often lack good lighting. Dark spaces feel closed and uninviting. In Charlestown, Barrington, and Newport, homes with older systems need upgrades. We add updated electrical systems. We place lights where you enjoy them. We use layered lighting — task, ambient, and accent lights. The result? A bright, welcoming basement. Good lighting makes the space more inviting. It makes it feel larger and open.

Basement Flooring Installation in Rhode Island

Your basement flooring must last. It must resist moisture and feel comfortable. We install: Vinyl plank Engineered hardwood Tile Durable carpets Our team installs floors that look great. They stand up to real use.

Rhode Island Basement Insulation and Energy Efficiency

Insulation matters. In Newport, Jamestown, and Middletown, basements can feel cold. We insulate correctly. Heat stays in. Cold stays out. Your living space feels cozier year‑round. We add insulation that meets today’s building codes. You save energy. You stay comfortable.

Custom Storage and Built‑Ins for Rhode Island Basements

Clutter makes any space feel small. We build custom storage and smart built‑ins. Shelves, cabinets, closets, and media walls — we design for your needs. Families in Charlestown and Barrington love how much more orderly their basements feel.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We recently hired Timco Builders to remodel two bathrooms, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the results. From the start, Tim’s communication was excellent, he kept me updated on progress, timelines, and any potential changes. His team was incredibly respectful, always on time, and worked diligently to make sure everything was perfect. The subcontractors he brought in also did outstanding work, paying attention to every detail. What stood out the most, though, was his attitude; he was always positive, professional, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring we were happy with the final result. We’ve used several different contractors for various projects over the years and will go back to Tim and his team for our future projects.
